Our March 2010 auction is shaping up to be another extraordinary sale. Already consigned is the H.H. Thomas Collection of rare Boutet pistols. Boutet was one of the finest gunsmiths to ever live. He operated out of Versailles during Napoleon’s time and was contracted by Napoleon and various other notables in France to produce extraordinary firearms, many of which were presented to high-ranking officials. This small select grouping of Boutet’s from the estate of Mr. Thomas is a very exciting find. Also included is an outstanding offering of rare Colt firearms including an important historic gold engraved inlaid SA presented to Robert Meldrum, from the Tomboy Mining Co. Important Winchester rifles, rare military and Class III, superb high-grade sporting rifles and shotguns, Civil War, a fine collection of single-shot rifles and much, much, more!

Some opportunities only come once in a lifetime. This is one of those opportunities. Occasionally selections of rare early American tin toys will come to market. Never before has such a large and significant collection seen the public marketplace as what is to be offered in June 2010. Over the last 30+ years, Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. amassed the finest collection of early American tin toys ever to come to auction in history.
